Amazing motel! Highly recommend!This is a very special motel! It's absolutely gorgeous, maintained by amazing staff, very friendly and caring.They have flowers all around and even a small garden where you can relax.We regret deeply that we could only stay for one night and had no time in the evening or morning to relax there a bit.The room was very nice for a motel and I quite liked it.I found a small spider in the tub, but I guess it's normal for a motel, where everything is on the ground.
The motel itself is quaint, with nice decor and a friendly atmosphere. The staff was courteous and competent. The two bed room was very small, but clean and well decorated. The beds are comfortable. There is indoor air conditioning, nice large TV and small microwave and coffee pot. The bathroom was very spacious and clean. Plenty of towels, soap, shampoo and a hair dryer. Outlets are few, but easy to access. Free wifi and parking directly in front of the room rounded out the amenities of this excellent little motel. The only negative thing I can think of is the soap and shampoo were horrible. Bring your own. All said, it was a great place to spend the night.
Maybe it was having just spent a week in a tent, maybe it was having just come over Ebbets Pass and the long drive from Sequoia, or maybe it was the owner's welcoming smile and attitude and the nice room that we stayed in, but this was the best money I've spent on lodging in years! Clean, quaint and reasonably priced. What a welcomed sight it was after a long day on the road. Thank you for a great night's rest!
Such a beautiful, quiet place to stay. The scenery was amazing, the front desk was nice and welcoming. It really gave that small cabin in the woods kind of feel. I talky recommend it, and will definitely stay again.
